Members Exhibition at Gold Hill Museum, 2nd-4th May 2015

Our first exhibition was held over the 2015 Mayday weekend and was very successful.  We had 85 Prints submitted and we managed to display them all on the excellent boards hired from Blandford CC.  Setting up for the first time was a challenge with the heavy boards being tried every which way and the prints being moved around until everyone was happy with the display.   We also had 20 PDIs on a rolling slideshow.

The work was worthwhile as the exhibition looked very professional and drew many compliments.

We attracted 350 visitors over the 3 days and most of them voted for their favourite print.  Nearly every print received some votes but the winner attracted an overwhelming number and will be announced at the forthcoming AGM.

Many thanks to everyone who submitted images, stewarded, helped set up and clear away, helped with publicity or did the 1001 little things that made an excellent display.  Thanks are also due to Gold Hill Museum for the hire of their very attractive Garden Room and we look forward to doing it again next year.
