Camera Club Summer Social At Springhead

Your Committee invites you to a summer social! 

Would everyone like to join us, with partners, at midday in Springhead Garden, Fontmell Magna on Sunday 30th August for a picnic?

Following our successful evening out there a few weeks ago, Eddie Parker has kindly agreed that we can use the garden as a meeting place over the Bank Holiday weekend. Bring your own picnic and chairs and cameras if you’d like to. This may be the only opportunity we get to meet up as a full club this year as the Royal British Legion Hall is likely to be out of bounds for the foreseeable future.

We are asking that everyone makes a donation of £3.50 to Springhead for the use of the garden that afternoon which I hope you will all feel is a reasonable request as we will have exclusive access once again (toilet facilities will be available).

Naturally, it is weather dependent (unfortunately) but it would also be the perfect time to pay membership fees for the coming season for any of you who do not wish to pay online. Cash is fine as are cheques, made payable to Shaftesbury Camera Club for £35 per person. We will also have a raffle, as we do at our Christmas social, as we have a surplus of prizes waiting to be won!

We hope as many members as possible will join us for what we hope will be a very pleasant afternoon.
