Photographic interests: Travel, people and landscapes have been my main source of interest. I enjoy both colour and monochrome and try to do as little post processing as possible. I use Faststone, Affinity Photo and Silver Efex Pro on the PC and Snapseed and Affinity on the iPad.

Equipment: My first serious camera in the 1950s was a Durst 2¼ square before changing to 35mm Leicas, both rangefinder and SLR. Also I was rarely without a Minox 9.5mm Sub Miniature camera in my pocket. I moved to digital in 2000, with a Fuji Finepix 4700 (2mp) and progressed using many different cameras both compact and DSLR through the years.

I’ve never been comfortable with SLRs and get more enjoyment from photography when not being weighed down with equipment. A Canon G9 gave me good service for many years and I now use the small Fuji XT30 and iPhone 12. My favourite camera of them all is still the 1951 rangefinder Leica.
