Shaftesbury’s friendly club for everyone with an interest in photography and cameras.
We meet two or three times a month during the winter season (Sept to May) at the Royal British Legion Hall in Coppice Street and prospective new members are always very welcome. Please register your interest by emailing us so we can keep you up to date with our news and activities.

Our programme includes talks, practical hands-on sessions, plus a few friendly internal and inter-club competitions featuring projected digital images (so you don’t have to worry about printing or mounting your shots) as well as traditional mounted prints. We also have an annual Print Exhibition.
We have additional workshops to help with managing and editing your photos, and preparing them to share with us or your friends, or for competitions. All to help us learn more about the art and latest technology of making better photographs. It doesn’t matter whether you use a small compact camera or a big single lens reflex, and we’re regularly seeing images taken with a smartphone!
We are open to all, so do please contact us. You are welcome to attend up to two of our meetings free before becoming a member. Our subscription is just £35 per member for a full Season, with a reduction if you join in the latter part of the Season. Occasional visitors are also welcome for a nominal fee of £5 per meeting, subject to a maximum of three such meetings during a Season.”

We normally meet two or three times a month on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in the Royal British Legion Hall in Coppice Street, Shaftesbury SP7 8PD (next to Tesco) from September through to May each year. Please always check our website or programme for actual dates.
